Use multiple groups to present a multilevel hierarchy

In this article I’ll demonstrate how to present data within a hierarchy using multiple groups.

As you can see, I have three hierarchies or level of data by which I wish to group to avoid repeating duplicate data for the last three columns: grant, PCA, and agency.

Using a Crosstab and group explorer, I’ll add a new child group for each column of data I want grouped – the first three.

Note: For each group I may set a sort order to apply to that group’s data.
