My professional story below highlights exciting opportunities, during which I have enjoyed creating, from concept to completion, many scalable, extensive, and powerful solutions. To this day, they continue to enable strategic decision making, critical data analysis, and information-management essential to achieving organizational goals.
While completing my undergraduate degree, I performed Quality Assurance on software before transitioning into Windows development. However, I’ve spent most of my career, designing and developing web-enabled database applications. Focusing equally on web and database development, I am continuing to learn the latest technologies to continue to providing, engaging, powerful solutions.
The projects below are listed in descending order with my most recent project first.
For all of the them, I developed strategic administration and configuration tools that allowed team members granular control overview critical site features as well providing robust reporting with customized filters.
Kentico CMS: Anthro.com, Radiology-Furniture.com, and Custom-cart.com.
Our achievements include:
- Upgrade existing codebase to the .NET 4.0 framework.
- Import Active Directory accounts into the CMS user database.
- Design robust media repositories to provide a central solution to asset management for all websites.
- Integrate user-driven website emails with SharePoint lists.
- Design and develop custom import program to consume external data sources.
- Create custom SharePoint email-enabled lists enabling team collaboration on user communication.
- Develop web services to communicate with external platforms.
- Create website tiers for development, testing, and production with syncing processes as well as versioning.
- Create custom documents, transformations, and reports.
This experience has been very rewarding. We were able to rapidly deploy websites with very little risk and gain enormous visibility to our customers through several web portals. The following technologies were leveraged:

Anthro E-Commerce
Immediately upon joining Anthro’s team we decided to embark upon a challenging project to:
- Upgrade previous e-commerce website to the latest version of the .NET framework and language.
- Integrate SAP .NET Connector into application to consume BAPI calls to SAP.
- Programmatically couple custom-developed administration tools into Team Foundation System for auditing purposes.
- Integrate new 3rd party controls to enhance the user experience and provide robust administration controls, content editors, and reporting tools.
- Tightly integrate all development processes into Team Foundation Server.
- Provide auditing of administration tools by integrating custom-developed administration tools into Team Foundation Server.
- Achieve strategic SEO goals by providing granular control over the site’s SEO elements.
- Ensure consistency throughout the site by utilizing master pages, themes, skins, CSS, and data-bound controls.
- Integrate code base and all development practices into Team Foundation System.
- Transfer all collaborative and project management processes into SharePoint Services.
In addition to my development responsibilities, we were successful in several key factors necessary for a productive environment. First, we worked establish to requirements for documentation and development practices regarding web and database development. I liaised with departments to understand, document, and convey to technical personnel requested features to rapidly resolve functional issues. To support strategic goals, I provided research and executive guidance for future feature needs and tools. Finally, I was constantly engaged in collaborative practices that strengthened concise, timely communication as well as corrective action to achieve maximum productivity within the team. Here are just a few of our accomplishments:
- We coordinated with state and local agencies, as well as other technical teams, to translate required legal and financial regulations into the system’s business logic.
- We successfully resolved issues with the current system to begin our new system by creating a new data model for the database.
- We created and delivered training materials to key personnel that provided a seamless transition from their previous system.
- We integrated structured and rigorous testing procedures to ensure a final product with a minimum degree of issues.
- We provided ongoing assistance with training and feature development.

Enter the Cognitive Agility Assessment Tool (CAAT). The CAAT/DSMO tool succeeded where none prior could.
Here’s just an overview of what we accomplished:
- Authors were empowered to create surveys, at design time, that would receive any type of content desired.
- Authors receive complete control over assignment, review, progress, and metric-analysis over all assessments.
- The type and length of assessment forms remained flexible to the author’s needs.
- Information received, was easily presented in a variety of format.
- Ongoing support and feature customization was provided.

The online data-management systems were a success and residents living at HUD properties are able to receive essential services provided by their property.

The concept was new to many of them – create an online community or data portal. Through it, each organization would post opportunities, resources, and training. Together, they greatly benefited the disabled in their communities.
